Subj: [Matoaka] Routine

Plan:
If you are a hutmate of Mataoka, you learned she has the following habits.
When her hutmates awaken, Mataoka is coming back from apparently washing
her hair or perhaps bathing since some morning she has new paintings on her
body. She combs her hair and braids them again methodically. She is quiet
even when she moves about. She tidies her resting area.

Plan:
If anyone observes Matoaka, they will see that when everyone goes out to
get their grails out of those oddly shaped stone mushroom, Matoaka stops
outside her hut for a few seconds in front of a stick with a few fish on it
and checks it out. Finally, she follows the crowd and awaits breakfast.
She eats with a certain dignity, showing a hint of proper manners. At the
end of every meal, she always packs her long wooden pipe with the tobacco
she receive from the grail and slowly enjoys every puff.

Plan:
If someone followed her to the river one morning. Whether she sees them
or not, she will go about her routine. Mataoka opens her bulging bag and
pull out a small fishnet out of it. She attaches the rope coming out of
one of its corners to her wrist and tosses it out in a deeper part of the
river. After letting the fishnet sink for sometime, she pulls on the rope
with visible strain and reels in the net. If there are any fish in it,
after scaling and gutting them with a sharpens stone, she takes a tree
branch she had previously cleaned up and passes it through their mouth and
out a gill. Otherwise, she throws the net out a few more times. When done,
she spreads the net out on bushes and removes her cloths to take a bath --
not too far out and always keeping an eye on her belongings. As she is in
the water, the paintings on her body fade away; she appears human again.
After the bath, she puts her breeches back on, pulls out a small wooden
mortar and some herbs and berries she sets aside. One by one she takes the
berries and herbs and crushes them with a stone pestle after spitting in
the bowl a couple of times. When the mixture is ready, she deeps two
fingers in it and starts painting patterns on her face and shoulders while
looking at herself in a still puddle of water. Finally, she puts her tunic
back on and returns to the communal hut where she lives. Once at the hut,
she plants the fish stick in the ground near the entrance of the hut before
entering it.

To GM:
Observing the others, what are the obvious habits of others that Matoaka
will learn? What do the others look like?
