Subj: [Matoaka] Revenge may be at hand

>Whenever she changed to Iroquois, Matoaka's face lit up with hope. She
>looked around searching for someone willing to introduce him/herself.
>Matoaka was also keeping her eyes peeled for people of her own kind as well
>as any undesirable people from her past.

>Plan:
If anyone comes forth, Matoaka will answer their questions to the best of
>her abilities and will and ask similar questions in return.

To GM:
OOC: I pick up from here in light of some new info. I hope it's not going
to make things too confusing. Sorry guys :)

As Matoaka looked around hoping for someone to come forth, she suddenly
froze and stared at the river. She turned her head right and left a couple
of time in total surprise.

Matoaka began speaking in english.
"It was dark, but... Benjamin! Shaw! By the Great Spirit, I have been
here before!"

Her thoughts had obviously darkened by the look on her face. She paused,
taking her time, looked right and left again to confirm her thoughts, and
finally grinned evilly.

Plan:
If Benjamin or Shaw try to speed up her story, Matoaka will just stare at
them, "I need to retrace my trip."

"Yes. I can remember now."

She paused once more and looked at Benjamin,

"I think your request is granted. We will be able to get back to the
village, but we must find a boat. (Sarcastically:) The trip on foot may be
a trifle dangerous. When I escaped my last captors, I canoed down the
river; that is how I stumbled upon you. Anyway, I passed this village, it
is about 10 grailstones maybe 12 north of the village. Unfortunately, it
also means that we are only about 2 grailstones north of Ford's village."

Matoaka looks at the locals again, her fear now replaced by confidence,

"Please, does anyone understand me?"

Plan:
If finally somebody comes forth, Matoaka will ask if they are willing to
lend them a boat. She knows she can't give them any guarantee; however, if
someone wants to merely give them a ride that would be fine too. We could
ask them what they would want in return once arrived at destination before
we offer the ore which seems to get us in trouble. At least we could ask
to cross the river to be on the other side to avoid New Detroit. She will
also turn to Shaw ask him to see if the strange man he spoke with earlier
could help us in any fashion, e.g. translator.
